Wheat Malt

Base malt for all wheat beers. Light wheat is also used in smaller quantities to obtain a ‘bread’ touch.


Produced from quality wheat. Ideal foundation grain for pale Weizenbiers, such as Hefeweizen and Kristallweizen. Essential ingredient in North American pub wheat ales. Adds creaminess, body, and complex wheat flavors to top-fermented beers.


 As it has a higher protein content than a Pilsen malt, Wheat Malt is not only suited to producing typical wheat beers, but also enhances the mouth feel and improves the foam of all top-fermented beer styles. The malting process has been adapted to the raw material to guarantee excellent process-ability.

Flavor: notes of bread, nuts, biscuit, toffee and light caramel
